Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
 

Your Uganda Safari begins with an exhilarating journey from Entebbe or Kampala towards the southwestern region, traversing approximately 512 kilometres through the picturesque Ugandan countryside. The Uganda Safari experience starts with a memorable stopover at the equator in Kayabwe, Mpigi District, where travelers can capture stunning photographs and explore local craft shops. The Uganda Safari route winds through spectacular landscapes of rolling hills, verdant tea plantations, and rural communities, offering glimpses into the authentic Ugandan way of life. After a comprehensive briefing at park headquarters in Bwuhoma, you’ll embark on an unforgettable Uganda Safari adventure tracking the magnificent mountain gorillas through dense, mystical forests. The gorilla tracking experience typically lasts 2-6 hours, depending on the mountain gorilla family’s location, allowing one precious hour of observation and photography with these incredible primates. Following the tracking, you’ll receive a commemorative certificate before transferring to the magical Lake Bunyonyi, traversing approximately 130 kilometers through stunning terraced hillsides.
